IT’S DONE.
I. Loved. Making this. I got to paint a horse – a horse I watched win the Triple Crown! I got to include Monmouth Park. It’s featuring a beer with a label illustration that’s had a homemade rug version of it hanging in my house as long as I can remember. I was blessed with lots of time free at work to really pour over it and lovingly render every pixel of it, like a psychopath. Could anything have been more perfectly fit for me?? I love it. I love it, I love it, I love it.
Making something I enjoyed so much reminds me why I went into the arts in the first place, and what more could I ask for?
